The Suction Pipe Fitted Into The Fuel Tank Needs To Be Checked

Usage:

PAVING PRODUCTSCB-214C (9XK00748-865),
CB-224C (3AL01171-1339) VIBRATORY COMPACTORS

Problem:

We have received reports of engines stopping on CB-214C and CB-224C Compactors. The fuel suction pipe welded into the fuel tank may have hole creating an air suction when the fuel level into the tank reaches the level of the hole.

Solution:

Drain the fuel from the tank (the drain plug is located on the front, right side of the machine), fill the tank with 8 liters of fuel and start the engine. When the engine starts, it means that the fuel suction pipe has no hole. If the engine does not start, completely fill the tank and start the engine. If the engine starts and runs when the tank is full change the fuel tank P/N. 1G4767. If the engine does not start when the fuel tank is full, check the fuel lines between the tank and the engine.
