The Operation & Maintenance Manuals do not list any adjustment for the brake packs.

Solution:

The Brake Pack Adjustment Procedure is necessary every 500 service hour intervals or every 6 months.

There are four brake packs on a Telehandler. The brake packs are located between the differential casing and the axle casing. Each brake pack has three adjusters. These adjusters are spaced evenly around the axle casing.

1. Locate the Brake Adjusters for a brake pack set on each side of the differential. See Illustration 1.
2. Loosen locknut (14). See Illustration 2.
3. Turn each adjuster (15) counterclockwise until it bottoms. This collapses the brake pack set.
4. Turn each adjuster (15) clockwise three quarters of a turn and tighten the locknut (14). This provides the correct space for a released brake pack.
