Problem:
We have received reports of some nuts and bolts being found loose on CB-214C and CB-224C Compactors. The 8T4132 nuts that secure the rubber drum mounts to the drum and frame and the 8T4779 and 8T4193 bolts that secure the propel motor to the drum and frame have been found loose on some machines and need to be checked for the correct torque.
Solution:
Using a suitable torque wrench check all the suspect nuts and bolts for the correct tightness as specified on the attached drawings. Please report any deficiencies that are found during this check to C.M.R. Product Support, Rantigny, France.
