110-1511 Tube Assembly (Pump Drive Lube) May Crack And Leak Due To Vibration

Usage:

AGRICULTURAL TRACTORSCHALLENGER 45 (1DR) TRACTORS

Problem:

Some 110-1511 Tube Assemblies on Challenger 45 Tractors may crack due to vibration. The 110-1511 Tube Assembly, part of the 108-1916 Hydraulic Arrangement, supplies oil to lubricate and cool the implement pump drive gears with case drain oil. Failure of the 110-1511 Tube Assembly can cause pump drive damage and substantial loss of oil.

Solution:

A production fix is forthcoming. In the cases where failures occur, replace the 110-1511 Tube Assembly with a Hose Assembly using the chart and illustration for parts and routing.
