Relocation Of Relay Panel Caterpillar

Relocation Of Relay Panel

Usage:

WHEEL LOADERS836 (3RL1-UP) COMPACTORS

Problem:

The electrical components of 102-6581 Relay Panel for the 836 Compactors may not provide adequate service life when operated in high ambient temperatures [32.2 to 35.0°C (90 to 95°F)] and above.

Solution:

A change is forthcoming. In the interim, the relay panel can be relocated from the engine compartment to a cooler place on the machine. Relocation of the relay panel will require the dealer to construct three extension harnesses. For instructions and a parts list to accomplish this relocation, contact the product analyst for compactors.
