Steering Wheel May Have An Offensive Odor

Problem:

The steering wheel used in some motor graders may emit an offensive odor. In some cases, the service personnel have had difficulty in finding the source of the odor.

Solution:

A Service Letter is forthcoming that will address the problem. If an offensive odor in the cab is reported, check the steering wheel as the source. Some operators have used air fresheners in the cab with some success.
