New Ether Starting Aid Groups Include Flexible Hose Assemblies Instead Of Tube Assemblies {1456}

Usage:

784B (5RK) Off-Highway Tractors;
785B (6HK),
789B (7EK),
793B (1HL) Off-Highway Trucks

Description of Change: New ether starting aid groups are being used on the 3500 Engines in these machines. The new groups include flexible hose assembies instead of the tube assemblies used in the former groups. The flexible hose assemblies are more resistant to vibration damage than the tube assemblies.

Adaptable To: Chart A identifies the new and former ether starting aid groups and the effectivity of the new groups.

The components of the new 133-9754 Ether Starting Aid Group (used on 784B Off-Highway Tractors and 785B Off-Highway Trucks) are identified in Illustrations 1 and 2 and Chart B. When used together, with a 134-9862 Fitting Assembly on the ether cylinder, these components are adaptable to all earlier 784B Off-Highway Tractors and 785B Off-Highway Trucks.
