Fixture Assembly Allows More Accurate Levelling Of Screed Plates{6643,0764}

Usage:

All Asphalt Pavers With 244 cm (8 ft) Or 305 cm (10 ft) Screeds

Warranty: G

Features/Benefits

* Used to measure flatness specification of screed wear plate (new screed plates must be adjusted for flatness)
* Fixture assembly and straight edge makes obtaining a flatness requirement of 0.76 or 1.52 mm (.030 or .060 inch) over length of screed wear plate much faster and easier (greatly improves accuracy over current string and level method)
* Requires two fixture assemblies and one straight edge
* String slot notches on ends of fixture allow a quick visual (via string) of screed condition without the use of the straight edge

Fixture Assembly:

* Strong magnets allow fixture assembly to be mounted anywhere on bottom of screed wear plate (magnets held in place with 10-24 x 1.75 inch long pan head screw, 4B-2047 Nut, and 3B-4502 Lockwasher)
* Cradles and rigidly holds straight edge in place under screed wear plate [will accept any 51 mm (2.0 inch) wide by 6 mm (.25 inch) thick straight edge]
* Two 4B-3569 Setscrews are used to allow height of straight edge to be easily adjusted during levelling procedure (use feeler gauge to check flatness)
* Wide enough to check front and rear flatness requirements without moving fixture assemblies (simply move straight edge from front to rear slot)

Straight Edge:

* Precisely ground and manufactured to minimize bowing (many other similar straight edges do not meet the required specifications)
* Lightweight and easy to handle
