Features/Benefits

* Used to remove and install final drive bearing locknut when replacing bearings or Duo-Cone seals
* Used with standard torque wrench to obtain up to 950 N·m (700 lb ft) of torque
* Four spanner teeth provide positive engagement with locknut (virtually eliminates slippage and locknut damage)
* Locknut cannot be properly installed using hammer and punch
* Spanner wrenches are heat-treated for durability and long life

126-6608 Spanner Wrench:

* Used on CS-433C, CP-433C Vibratory Soil Compactors; CB-534B, CB-534C, CB-634B and CB-634C Vibratory Asphalt Compactors
* Designed to fit inside housing bore
* Top of spanner wrench is designed to extend out beyond face of housing (allows use of torque wrench without need for an extension)

126-6609 Spanner Wrench, 126-6610 Alignment Bracket, And 129-2343 Staking Tool:

* Used on CS-533C, CP-533C, CS-563C, CP-563C and CS-583C Vibratory Soil Compactors
* Spanner wrench is designed to fit down inside deep housing bore (locknut is over 90 mm (3.5 inch) down inside housing)
* Designed to extend out beyond face of housing (round shank of spanner wrench extends beyond housing face and through alignment bracket)
* 126-6610 Alignment Bracket bolts directly onto housing and provides a reaction point for torque wrench (permits one-person tightening of locknut)
* Bracket uses existing final drive holes and bolts for mounting
* 129-2343 Staking Tool provides best method of properly securing locknut onto shaft (simple and easy to use; refer to Illustration 4)
* Staking tool locates point of punch in the correct position to peen or stake locknut onto shaft (a regular punch could slip off of locknut and cause bearing damage)
