Termination Date
May 31, 1995Problem
The drive gear may not be properly installed on the shaft assembly of certain 0R3233 and 0R3860 Scavenge Oil Pumps in dealer Parts Stock. If the drive gear is not properly installed, it may come off the shaft.
Action Required
Inspect the date code on the tag of all 0R3233 and 0R3860 Scavenge Oil Pumps in dealer Parts Stock. The date code is in the numeralkod format.
If the date code is prior to February 1995, open the box and determine if the pump is a new pump used as "seed stock" or if it is a "reman" pump. Only "reman" pumps will be stamped with the reman part number.
If the pump is a new pump used as "seed stock", return it to dealer Parts Stock. If the pump is a "reman" pump, remove it from dealer Parts Stock.
Service Claim Allowances
Submit one claim for all 0R3233 and 0R3860 Scavenge Oil Pumps removed from Parts Stock that are stamped with a reman part number.

U.S. and Canadian Dealers
Return all 0R3233 and 0R3860 Scavenge Oil Pumps removed from Parts Stock and a copy of the claim to:
