Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1261" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1261" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
Certain 768C and 772B Tractors; and 769C, 771C, 773B, and 775B Trucks were not assembled with the correct air over hydraulic cylinder (master brake cylinder). A new air over hydraulic cylinder needs to be installed.

Dealers will need to order parts for this Program.
- 1 - 8X6987 Air Over Hydraulic Cylinder Group
Action Required
1. Disconnect all hoses (two oil lines and one air line) at the 8X7223 Cylinder.
2. Remove the existing air over hydraulic cylinder from the 5T5973 Plate by removing three 3-7X3192 Bolts and 3-8T4122 Washers.
3. Remove the existing 2-8T6876 Elbows (90 degree), 2-3J1907 Seals, and 1-6V8398 O-Ring Seal from the ports of the former 8X7223 Cylinder and reuse on the 8X6987 Cylinder (if not damaged during removal).
4. Install the 8X6987 Air Over Hydraulic Cylinder on the mounting plate. Reuse the 3-7X3192 Bolts and 3-8T4122 Washers to secure the cylinder to the 5T5973 Plate.
