NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3726" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3726" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Rework Procedure
1. Remove the existing 7X8166 Engine Throttle Cable and mounting bracket.
2. Install the new part as shown in the illustration above.
3. Check the engine high idle setting to verify the correct machine vibrations per minute (VPM). This should be done with the vibratory drum on tires. Use the following chart for reference.
4. To adjust the throttle control, stroke cable (Item 1) to full high idle position with cable end disconnected at injector pump lever (fine adjust knob rotated to the maximum CCW).
5. Adjust the cable mounting in its support bracket (Item 6) so the ball joint end (Item 5) drops into the pump lever when up against the high idle screw.
6. Secure the ball joint.
7. Secure the cable jam nuts (Item 2) against the bracket (Item 6).
8. Stroke the cable and check for smooth action.
9. Start the engine and stroke the cable to check for proper high and low idle.
