NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0816" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The six 2B2006 Brake Housing Bolts in the 9R8004 and 9R8006 Rear Axle may loosen. The operator may notice a soft pedal or the differential lock shaft moving when the brakes are applied.
NOTE: A soft pedal can also be caused by air in the brake lines, fluid loss, etc. Properly diagnose the cause before checking the brake housing bolts.

Action Required
Remove 2B2006 Bolts from both the 551258 and 551259 Brake Housings. Clean the internal threads on the 9R9396 and 9R9397 trumpet housings. Put three drops of 4C9506 or 4C9507 Sealant (Loctite 620) on each of twelve new 2B2006 bolts. Install bolts and tighten to a torque of 125 ft-lbs (170 Nm). Reference 416B parts book SEBP2202 Page 142.
