Rework Procedure
Drain Rework Instructions
NOTE: Refer to Illustration 1 for location of parts.
1. Remove the 4 hydraulic couplers from the left support bracket.
2. Drill two holes and make two slots as shown in View BB of Illustration 2.
3. Install two 5P4924 Elbows in the 1139801 Valve and align as shown in Illustration 3.
4. Secure the sub assembled valve and elbows to the coupler bracket, using the two 9L0945 U-bolts, two 4B4276 Washers and two 6V8185 Nuts (see Illustration 1).
5. Uncoil the existing drain hose from under the fuel tank. Clip that hose to the 9U2930 Angle that supports the steering motor case drain line. See Illustration 4.
6. Cut hose length and secure it to the inlet side of the valve using a 5D1026 Clamp. Clamp the remainder of the hose to the outlet side of the valve. If the tractor has a PTO, the hose can be secured to the PTO lube line with the 7K1181 Strap.
7. Reassemble the hydraulic couplers.
8. Make sure new drain valve is in the off position. Turn the originally installed valve on and check the operation of the new drain.

High Level Fuel Vent - CH75 (4CJ)
For installation procedures refer to Special Instruction, SEHS9655-01, "Installation of 1070592 Fuel Tank Vent Service Group". In step 10, replace the use of four 1V0117 Clips (adhesive) up the back of the cab with two 6D4636 or 1S0994 Clips on the handrail and two 8M2773 Clips on the hose.
High Level Fuel Vent - CH75C
Use Special Instruction, SEHS9655-01, "Installation of 1070592 Fuel Tank Vent Service Group" as a general reference. The following items supplement those instructions for C series tractors.
C Series Tractors - Tank Bosses
1. No boss on top of tank:
Drill and tap the fuel filler neck per Illustration 5. Be sure to catch all chips so they do not get into the tank. Install the 66586 Conncector, Hose and Clamp as shown.
2. Tanks with bosses:
Two sizes of bosses have been used. Illustration 6 shows both of those and the parts required for each. Install the parts required for the boss being used.
Hose Routing And Clipping
Special Instruction SEHS9655 shows the use of adhesive clips to secure the vent hose to the back of the cab. Those adhesive clips are replaced by metal clips sized for the grab rails on the cab, and 8M2773 Clips for the vent hose. 6D4636 Clips are for use with 25.4mm (1") grab rails, and 1S0994 Clips are for use with 21.3mm (.84") grab rails.
Illustration 7 shows a typical example of hose routing and clipping. The illustration on the left side of the back page of Special Instruction SEHS9655 shows assembly of the breather and related parts.
Fuel Cap Modifications
Fuel caps are to be modified as shown in Special Instruction SEHS9655.
