Corrupted Fleet Trip Data{1900}

Fleet trip data can become corrupted in two ways:
1. Loss of the unswitched battery (pin 4 on J1 / P1).
2. Flashing an ECM that has pre-April, 1994 software.
If the fleet trip data is being used by the trucking firm, make sure that the fleet trip data is downloaded into the fleet information software before the truck is taken to the dealership to be flashed. Once the truck is flashed, the fleet trip and driver segments must be reset with a service tool to clear the scrambled data. If the truck is released without resetting the fleet and driver segments, subsequent data accumulated will continue to be corrupted.
