Description of Change: A new stronger elbow is used in the turbocharger oil lines groups on these engines. The new elbow is a one piece design while the former elbow consists two pieces that are brazed together. The elbow is located between the oil filter base and the turbocharger oil supply line. See the illustration.

Adaptable To: The new 131-3200 Elbow is a direct replacement for the former 030-7949 Elbow in the turbocharger oil supply lines groups on these engines. The new elbow is effective with 3406C (8PN7198) and 3406E (5EK66648) Truck Engines.
