Mechanical Unit Injector Identification Code {1290}
Usage:
3114 And 3116 Truck Engines Equipped With Mechanical Unit Injectors
Beginning November 1, 1995 all mechanical unit injectors used in these truck engines will have serial numbers. The serial number will replace the date code. The serial number will be located on the unit injector hold down bracket in the same area as the part number. This change will allow better tracking and field follow when needed.
