Correct Valve Rocker Arm And Valve Push Rod Combinations {1123,1208}

Usage:

3116 (9GK) Truck Engines

Two types of rocker arms are used on these truck engines. The 6I-0924 Valve Rocker Arm Assembly is used on most of these engines. The 6I-1241 Valve Push Rod must be used with the 6I-0924 Valve Rocker Arm Assembly. The 6I-1241 Valve Push Rod is a one piece solid steel design. See Illustration 1. Some recent engines use the 115-4190 Valve Rocker Arm Assembly. This rocker arm has a swivel "anvil" or "elephant's foot" design. The 119-2915 Valve Push Rod must be used with the 115-4190 Valve Rocker Arm Assembly. The 119-2915 Valve Push Rod has a tubular center section with solid end pieces. See Illustration 2. The 119-2915 Valve Push Rod is 3.6 mm (.14 in) shorter than the 6I-1241 Valve Push Rod.

NOTE: The 119-2915 Valve Push Rod and 115-4190 Valve Rocker Arm Assembly is NOT the combination used on 3116 HEUI or 3126 HEUI Truck Engines. The 3116 HEUI or 3126 HEUI Truck Engines use the 101-3268 Valve Push Rod and 115-4190 Valve Rocker Arm Assembly.
