Be sure the correct piston cooling jets are installed in the engine. If a broken piston cooling jet, or a seized piston are found in an engine, refer to the parts manual for the correct piston cooling jet part numbers. The chart is provided for reference only. Do NOT assume that because all the other jets look the same, that they are the correct jet for the piston.
The color code identified in the chart is a method of identification for the factory and may not be visible after the engine has been operated.
