Black Painted Valve Covers Available{1107}

Usage:

3406E (5EK) Truck Engines

New specially painted black valve covers are available for the 3406E Truck Engine. These valve covers are not available as a factory option. There is no credit for return of the original valve covers. The black valve covers can be ordered through normal parts ordering channels. The 3406E requires three valve covers. They can be either two plain valve covers and one valve cover with an oil filler hole. Or, they can be two valve covers with an oil filler hole and one plain valve cover. The part number of the black painted components are listed in the chart.

Also, dealers will have to order a new EPA certification sticker for the engine if new valve covers are installed. To order a new EPA certification sticker, call Shelby Bevard, 3400 Customer Value Group, Phone No. (309) 578-6901.
