Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Ensure that the O-ring seal is installed on the adapter of the engine oil pump and place clean engine oil on the O-ring seal.
- Install Tooling (A) in the engine oil pan and install the gasket.

- The weight of engine is approximately
6440 kg (14200 lb) . - The weight of engine oil pan is approximately
368 kg (809 lb) . - Install bolts (2) on engine oil pan (3).

Note: Refer to Specifications, "Engine Oil Pan" for more information.
- Fill the engine to the correct level with clean engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil - Change".
