The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is know, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Oil leakage occurs due to loose breather cap.

Solution

Caterpillar^® is aware of this problem, but an interim repair has not been identified.

In the event of failure, replace the failed 368-8036 Breather As with new part of same part number.

Note: During replacement generate a Dealer Solution Network (DSN) ticket to initiate Send it Back request. Attach photographs of leak affected area along with failed breather hose to help us analyze the problem.
