New Special Instruction Is Now Available to Install the Improved Air Cleaner on Certain D6K2 Track-Type Tractors {1051, 1054}

D6K2 XL DFR

Track-Type Tractor: D6K2 (S/N: EL71-420; MGM1-289; DFR1-650; JTR200-1233)

Reference: Special Instruction , M0094616 , "Procedure to Install an Improved Air Cleaner Retrofit on Certain Track-Type Tractors".

New special instruction provides the procedure to install the improved air cleaner on the machines listed above. The improved air cleaner with a scavenge line will provide more efficient filtering process and increases the service life of the air filter.

For the complete lists of parts and procedure to install the improved air cleaner, refer to Special Instruction , M0094616 , "Procedure to Install an Improved Air Cleaner Retrofit on Certain Track-Type Tractors".

The new special instruction is adaptable to machines within the listed serial numbers.

The special instruction can be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS) and through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat dealer.
