Engine Oil Filler and Oil Level Gauge - Remove and Install

NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove the bolts and cover (1) with the oil filler and the oil level gauge. Remove the O-ring seal from cover (1).
Remove gauge (2).
Remove tube (3) and the gasket.
Remove support (5).
Remove elbow (4) and the gaskets.

Inspect all parts and replace parts when replacement is required.

Install elbow (4) on cover (1) with new gaskets.
Install support (5).
Install tube (3) with a new gasket. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads.
Install gauge (2).
Install a new O-ring seal on cover (1). Use Tooling (B) to hold the O-ring seal in place.
Install cover (1) with the oil filler and the oil level gauge and the bolts.
