Priority Valve - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install O-ring seals (7) around the sleeves in the front housing.
Note: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "General Information (Reference Material)" for more information.

- Place priority valve (6) into position on the front housing. Install the bolts that hold the priority valve in place.

- Install tube (5) and elbow (4). Install the bolt that holds the bracket for tube (5) to the priority valve.

- Install elbow (2) onto tube (1). Ensure that the O-ring seals are in place.
- Connect tube assembly (3) to elbow (2). Close the drain valves on the engine oil filters.
- Ensure that the engine is filled with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil - Change".
