Programmable Parameters
通过可编程参数可以配置发动机，以满足应用要求。 当安装应用程序时，系统配置参数必须编程。 在发动机首次起动前，进行编程。
需要气体分析数据和发动机性能数据，以确定点火正时和燃料控制的正确设置。 参数编程不正确可能导致发动机性能降低和/或发动机损坏。
可编程参数分为由其功能定义的组，其中可能包括发动机识别，正时控制，空/燃比控制，转速控制，起动/停止控制和发动机监视等组。
如果更换电子控制模块（ECM），必须从旧的 ECM 复制合适的参数。 这可使用 Cat® 电子技师 (ET) 的"复制配置"特性完成。 另外，也可以将设置记到纸上，然后再将其编程设定到新模块的配置屏幕上。
注: 在 ECM 更换步骤期间执行复制配置时，将会迁移损坏的 ECM 数据。 在由于存储器损坏而更换 ECM 的情况下，可能需要手动输入可编程参数，并重新标定特定部件。
