Water Pump - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Clean the mating surfaces of the water pump and the cylinder block.
- Ensure that the O-ring seals are installed on the water pump.
- Position water pump (4) on the front of the engine. Install bolts (3) .

- Connect the hose assemblies to the top of the water pump.
- Install the inlet hose to the water pump. Install the hose clamps.
- Install the outlet hose to the water pump. Install the hose clamps.
- Position support bracket (2). Install bolts (1) .
- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.
End By: Install the alternator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".
