Problem:

Parts information for the SR17, SR18, and SR21 Snowblowers is delayed and is not available for the release of the new Snowblowers.

Solution:

Parts information for the SR17, SR18, and SR21 Snowblowers is currently being finalized and will be made available in the near future. Until this information is made available, all inquiries and correspondence from Technical Communicators regarding service parts for the new Snowblowers should be directed to:

Dealers/customers placing orders for the Snowblowers will be contacted by Francisco Maraccini, BCP Work Tools, in order to help ensure the serviceability of these new products. Dealers/customers will also be informed of the status and future release of service parts information. Once released, parts information will be combined with service information into an Owner's Manuals, RENR4849, which will be forwarded to dealers/customers having purchased Snowblowers. Parts information will also be made available in Caterpillar's Service Information System (SIS).

The Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7608, "SR17, SR18, and SR21 Skid Steer Loader Snowblowers", is available for the release of the Snowblowers. The Special Instruction, REHS1182, "Providing A Power Source to the Control Device for Snowblowers", is also available for instructions on installing control power for the deflector and discharge chute. Both of these publications are being provided with the sale of each Snowblower.
