SUBJECT: SOFTWARE CROSS REFERENCE TABLE FOR CERTAIN 365B L
EXCAVATORS

PROBLEM:

New software files are continuously released in order to improve machine performance and the performance of machine attachments. The configuration of a machine and its attachments may require the use of multiple software files. The files must be compatible in order to use multiple files on a given machine. A cross reference of software files is currently not available in service publications.

SOLUTION:

Refer to the table for the identification of the latest software. The table is for standard machines and for machines that are configured with a one way or a combined hydraulic circuit including an auxiliary pump for medium pressure. The table also shows the compatibility between application software, electronic control modules, and service tool software for the 365B L Excavators listed. The cross reference table will be available in the Service Information System (SIS) with automatic updates.

NOTE: Use CAT Electronic Technician (ET) Service Tool Version 3.0 and up.
