When reporting the repair, use "PS45259" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
Incorrect installation of the 476-0262 Air Inlet Hose clamping can cause an air leak on certain 320F L Excavators. If an air leak occurs, low air boost pressure and low engine power can occur. |

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. |

1. Park the machine on a hard level surface, and ground the bucket/tool. Stop the engine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual. |
2. Remove the bottom guard. Refer to Image1.3.1. |

3. Inspect and confirm that the 8T-4984 Band Clamp is correctly installed at the consist distance location from the hose edge with correct torque (11 +/- 2 N.m). Refer to Image1.4.1 which shows correct clamping condition. - If the 8T-4984 Band Clamp is installed correctly, proceed to Step 9. - If the 8T-4984 Band Clamp is NOT installed correctly, proceed to Step 4. |

4. Loosen the bolts and 119-5917 Clips for adjusting the 476-0262 Air Inlet Hose location. Refer to Image1.5.1. |

5. Loose the 8T-4984 Band Clamp. 6. Adjust the 476-0262 Air Inlet Hose and the 8T-4984 Band Clamp correctly. Refer to Image1.4.1 and 1.6.1. If the band clamp is damaged, replace the damaged band clamp with a new 8T-4984 Band Clamp. 7. Tighten the 8T-4984 Band Clamp to a specified torque of 11 +/- 2 N.m. |

8. Tighten the air inlet hose clip bolts to a specified torque of 55 +/- 10 N.m. Refer to Image1.5.1. 9. Reinstall the bottom guard. Tighten to a specified torque of 100 +/- 20 N.m. |
