PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. |
Ensure machine is cold or has cooled down after running. Assemble 8W-0222 Adapter to 5P-8885 Adapter with 3J-1907 O-ring. Tighten to 27 +/- 4 Nm. Assemble 297-7964 Adaptors x2 with 3J-1907 O-rings x2 to assembled adapter. Tighten to 27 +/- 4 Nm. |

Locate 5P-1505 Hose that runs from the turbo and EGR valve into the radiator shunt tank. Clamp both sides of the hose where you are going to insert the adapter assembly. This will stop coolant leaking out from the shunt tank. Cut out a section of the hose large enough to fit the adapter assembly. |

Insert the adaptor into the shunt tank line and secure using 5D-1026 Hose Clamps x2. Orientate the clamps so as the sharp edges are facing away from the silicone radiator hose. Tighten clamps to 4.5 +/- 0.7 Nm. Clip the assembly above and below the adapter to the radiator hose using 7K-1181 Straps. If necessary top up the coolant shunt tank and run the machine and check for leaks. |
