Installation Of Lever
(1) Hold the governor control shaft in the shutoff position.
(2) Install lever (2) and tighten lever (2) to the governor control shaft. Install this lever at the shutoff position angle. This shutoff position angle is shown in the illustration above.
The bend in lever (2) must be in position (B) for nonelectric governors. The bend in lever (2) must be in position (C) for electric governors. Dimension (A) between lever (2) and the governor ... 4.3 ± 0.5 mm (0.169 ± 0.020 inch)
Note: Assemble the control rod for the carburetor and the spacer (4) to the governor side of lever (2). No spacer is used on G3412 Engines that have electric governors.
