Description Of Change: New hose clamps are now used in the coolant lines group of the products listed above. The new hose clamps will increase clamping force and prevent leaking.

Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

Table 1
Parts Required
Item  Qty  Part Number  Description  Former Part Number
510-2512  Clamp  431-9388
4 539-1248  Clamp
There are two clamp options as there are two possible sizes of hose available for part number 332-7785 Hose depending upon supplier. The inner diameter (i.d.) will be the same, however the outer diameter (o.d.) is different. Measure the o.d. of 332-7785 Hose to determine the clamp for the hose installed on the machine.

  • If hose o.d. is less than 13.3 mm (0.52 inch), then use 510-2512 Clamp.

  • If hose o.d. is greater than 13.3 mm, then use 539-1248 clamp. Also if the larger diameter hose is used, then 3U-2752 Clip will need to be replaced by 344-5360 Clip.

  1. Remove and discard four existing 431-9388 Clamps and replace with four clamps (1) that fit 332-7785 Hose. Refer to Illustration 1, Illustration 2, and Illustration 3 for detailed views of the clamp locations.

  2. Crimp clamps (1) into place using plier tool (A).

Note: After new clamps (1) are installed, run the machine and check for leaks.
