Usage:

836K LWZ
Landfill Compactor
836K (S/N: LWZ1-231; TWZ1-559)

Description Of Change: An alignment procedure for the fan support group as part of the radiator guard group is now used on the 836K Landfill Compactor.

The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

Adaptable To: If the swing out radiator is difficult to close, first try to adjust the hinges that mount the swing out radiator to the machine. Secure the entire assembly with an appropriate lifting device. Loosen the bolts that attach 433-7854 Hinge As to the radiator guard. Use the lifting device to raise the swing out radiator to the maximum height allowed by the bolt hole clearance for the 433-7854 Hinge As and tighten the bolts.

Also, the swing out radiator has been redesigned. Radiator guard group (1) shown in Illustration 1 features new fan drive support (2) shown in Illustration 2 that replaces fan support group (3) shown in Illustration 3. 486-1508 Fan Drive Support features new fan support assembly (4). Fan support assembly (4) shown in Illustration 4 requires the addition of 2 483-9012 Plates and 2 8T-4648 Bolts that replace 2 433-7521 Blocks and 2 8T-4194 Bolts from the previous design.
