Description of Change: The automatic brake application switches shown in the above supplements have been revised. See the replacement supplement that follows.

The following pressure switches have changed: The Alert Indicator switches and the Brake Application switches. The new Alert Indicator switches and the new Brake Application switches have a different specification to the former switches.

The former switches must not be intermixed with the new switches.

Adaptable To: The new 1DE3524 Pressure Switch is a replacement for the following former switches: 9W-2653 Pressure Switch and the 1DE2746 Pressure Switch. The new 1DE3523 Pressure Switch is a replacement for the following former switches: 1DE1039 Pressure Switch and the 175-3245 Pressure Switch. The new 1DE3524 Pressure Switch and the new 1DE3523 Pressure Switch is adaptable to R1700-127 and Up. Refer to Table 1 and Illustration 1 for details.
