Engine Support (Front) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
- Remove the vibration damper. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR6409-01, "3406C Engine for Caterpillar Built Machines", "Vibration Damper - Remove and Install".
- Attach a suitable lifting device and a lifting chain to the lifting bracket on the engine in order to support the engine.

- Remove bolts (1), bracket (3), and support (2) from the engine.
Installation Procedure
- Install support (2), bracket (3), and bolts (1) on the engine.

- Install the vibration damper. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblySENR6409-01"3406C Engine for Caterpillar Built Machines", "Vibration Damper - Remove and Install".
