Description of Change: A new speed sensor has improved service life. The speed sensor is used in five locations on the machine. Four of the locations are used in order to determine the various transmission speeds. The fifth location is used in order to determine the torque converter output speed. The new speed sensor may be used in all five sensor locations.
Adaptable To: The new 183-5011 Speed Sensor replaces the former 3E-8848 Speed Sensor. The new 183-5011 Speed Sensor is adaptable to (PIN: 6QW1-UP; 9EW1-UP; 4LZ) Load Haul Dumps.
