(1) Chassis Control Module (CCM). (2) Alternator.

This fault code appears when battery voltage falls below 10 Volts. Check the battery and charging system for correct operation.

  1. Turn key start switch OFF. Disconnect battery positive terminal and measure battery voltage directly.

Expected Result: The voltage is below 10 DCV.

    • YES, go to Step 2.

    • NO, go to Step 3.

  1. Recharge and load test the battery.

Expected Result: The battery passes the load test.

    • YES, repair complete.

    • NO, replace battery. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

  1. Reconnect battery positive terminal. Remove KAPWR fuse (MDP-F25) and turn key start switch OFF. Use clamp-type ammeter to measure current from battery.

Expected Result: There is no current.

    • YES, go to Step 4.

    • NO, locate and repair short circuit in machine electrical system. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.

  1. Download latest control module software into all control modules.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, go to Step 5.

    • NO, repair is complete.

  1. Replace Electronic Monitoring Center Module.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, install original EMC repeat troubleshooting procedure.

    • NO, go to Step 6.

  1. Install the original EMC.

Expected Result: The fault code is active.

    • YES, original EMC was faulty. Replace original EMC with new EMC. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules.

    • NO, this fault code may have been caused by faulty connectors. Keep the original on the tractor. Clean all terminals on the EMC and reconnect. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules.
