Note: Before installation, lubricate all pin bores with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease .

  1. Lower the temperature of the sleeve bearings.

  1. Use Tooling (G) to install sleeve bearing (19) to a depth of 10 ± 1 mm (0.40 ± 0.04 inch).

  1. Use Tooling (F) to install sleeve bearing (18) to a depth of 11 ± 1 mm (0.43 ± 0.04 inch).

  1. Use Tooling (E) to install sleeve bearing (17) to a depth of 9 ± 1 mm (0.35 ± 0.04 inch).

  1. Use Tooling (D) to install sleeve bearing (16) to a depth of 8.9 ± 1 mm (0.35 ± 0.04 inch).

  1. Use Tooling (C) to install sleeve bearing (15) to a depth of 10 ± 1 mm (0.40 ± 0.04 inch).

  1. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for the opposite lift arm.

  1. Use Tooling (B) to install lip seals (13), (12), (11), and (10) in both lift arms.

  1. Use Tooling (H) to install lip seal (14) in both lift arms.

  1. Fasten a hoist and suitable lifting slings to lift arms (9), as shown.

  1. Use a hoist to install lift arms (9). The weight of lift arms (9) is 1016 kg (2240 lb).

  1. Install pin (6), bolt (8), and grease fitting (7). Repeat for the opposite side of the machine.

  1. Use a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to support the rod end of lift cylinder (6) .

  1. Put the rod end of tilt cylinder (6) in position. Install pin (7) and bolt (8) .

  1. Reposition hydraulic hose assemblies (2). Install the clip assemblies and bolt (5) in both lift arms.

  1. Install two bolts (4) in mounting blocks (3) .

  1. Install the clip assemblies and two bolts (1) on both lift arms.

  1. Remove Tooling (A) from the lift arms.

End By:

  1. Install the rear tilt links. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Link (Rear) - Install".
  2. Install the rear tilt levers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Lever (Rear) - Install".
  3. Install the tilt cylinders. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Cylinder - Install".
  4. Install the attachment positioner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Attachment Positioner Control - Remove and Install".
  5. Install the front tilt levers and the front tilt links. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Lever (Front) and Tilt Link (Front) - Install".
  6. Install the quick coupler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Quick Coupler- Remove and Install".
