Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the compartment cover from the front of the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cover (Cab Front) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

In order to prevent possible personal injury, release the air pressure from the air tank before disconnecting any components of the air system.

1. Release the pressure in the air tank.

2. Disconnect two tubes (5) .

3. Remove retainer (3) .

4. Reposition wiper arm assembly (1) .

5. If necessary, remove two elbows (6) .

6. Remove four bolts (2) and the four washers.

7. Remove windshield wiper motor (4) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install windshield wiper motor (4) .

2. Install the four washers and four bolts (2) .

3. Install two elbows (6) .

4. Position wiper arm assembly (1) .

5. Install retainer (3) .

6. Connect two tubes (5) .

7. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Starting with an External Air Supply" in order to refill the air tank.

End By: Install the compartment cover at the front of the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cover (Cab Front) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
