Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the window wiper motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Window Wiper Motor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

Note: Refer to the Parts Manual for the repair kit. Not all the parts are serviced in this group.

1. Position wiper motor assembly (1) on a suitable work bench.

2. Remove three screws (4) in order to separate body (2) from body (3) .

3. Remove valve assembly (5), spool assembly (6), and gear assembly (7) from body (3) .

4. If necessary, remove two O-ring seals (8) from body (2) .

   Note: If necessary, remove O-ring seals (8) from body (3) .

5. Remove arm (10) from gear (11) .

6. Remove two bearings (9) from gear (11) .

7. Remove retaining ring (12) .

8. Remove O-ring seal (14) from piston (18) .

9. Remove cap (17) .

10. Remove spool assembly (19) .

11. Remove O-ring seals (15) from spool (19) .

12. Remove O-ring seal (20) from piston (16) .

14. Remove screw (21) .

15. Remove washer (22) .

16. Remove O-ring seal (23) .

17. Remove rubber bumper (24) .
