The 164-4603 Manifold Group (Exhaust) is not serviced at the group level. Order the components individually. The components of the group are identified in Parts Manual 773D Truck (7CS-Up), SEBP2670, or Parts Manual 775D Truck (8AS-Up). SEBP2767. The 164-4603 Manifold Group (Exhaust) asa whole is a direct replacement for the former 129-6834 Manifold Group (Exhaust).

Description of Change: New bellows type exhaust manifold groups have replaced former slip joint type exhaust manifold groups on the engines in these machines. The bellows exhaust manifolds were designed to improve the exhaust manifold stud durability.
Adaptable To: The new 166-0164 Manifold Gp (Exhaust) is a direct replacement for the former 9Y-1232 Manifold Gp (Exhaust) on 769D and 771D Off-Highway Trucks. The 166-0164 Manifold Gp (Exhaust) is not serviced at the group level. Order the components individually. The components of the group are identified in Parts Manual (769D Truck (5SS-Up), SEBP2668 or Parts Manual (771D Truck (6YS-Up), SEBP2766. The 166-0164 Manifold Gp (Exhaust) as a whole is a direct replacement for the former 9Y-1232 Manifold Gp (Exhaust).
