4T-4188 Hydraulic Pump Group
141-0946 Elbow
Changes to the hydraulic pump and the flange on the suction elbow have been made on the 583R Pipelayer. The changes allow better alignment of the bolt holes on the elbow flange and the suction port of the pump. Four bolt holes (1) and four bolt holes (2) on the pump have been realigned for better tolerances. Four bolt holes (3) and four bolt holes (4) on the elbow flange have been enlarged for more clearance and better alignment.
Adaptable To: The new 4T-4188 Pump Group is direct replacement for the existing pump group of the same part number. The new elbow 141-0946 is a direct replacement for the existing elbow of the same part number. The redesigned pump group and elbow are effective on the 583R (2XS464) Pipelayer. The redesigned pump group and elbow are adaptable to 583R (2XS1-463) Pipelayers. The existing 141-0946 elbow can be reworked by enlarging bolt holes (3) from 12.2 mm (.48 inch) to 13 mm (.51 inch) and enlarging bolt holes (4) from 17 mm (.67 inch) to 18 mm (.71 inch).
