New Lift Cylinder Has Threaded Crown And Recess For Piston Bolt{5102}

Usage:

825G (6RN) Soil Compactors

Description of Change: A new lift cylinder with a threaded crown replaces the former lift cylinder. The threaded crown design has provided more resistance to head loosening and seal leaking in the lift application on the 825G Compactor.

The cylinder has been changed to provide a recess for the piston bolt to prevent impacting the bolt on the cylinder cap when the rod is fully retracted.

The piston in the new lift cylinder has been changed to locate the seal assembly toward the rear of the piston to prevent fatigue cracking between the seal groove and the rod counterbore.
