Backhoe Loader Window Latch Rod Now Serviceable{7308}

Description of Change: The window latch rod is now serviceable for the above listed machines.

Adaptable To: The 122-8429 Rod (1) is a service part for the 8Y-7293 and the 8Y-7294 Door Assemblies. The rod is used with window latch (2) to maintain the window in an opened or closed position. See Illustration 1.

The rod is a direct replacement part and is adaptable to the listed machines. Parts for the rod and the window latch are shown in Illustration 2 and identified in Chart 1.

The 122-8429 Rod (1) is installed by tack welding the rod directly to the door frame. See Illustration 3 for installation details.
