New 158-3403 Manifold (1) replaces former 6E-2308 and 134-3017 Manifolds in the hoist Lines, shown in Illustration 1.
New 158-3403 Manifold (1) includes a differential pressure switch to send a signal to the VIMS (Vital Information Monitoring System) when screens in the hoist lines are plugged. Pressure and flow surges in former 6E-2308 and 134-3017 Manifolds caused a false plugged screen signal to Vims.
167-0566 Cartridge (12) and 167-0567 Orifice (13), in new 158-3403 Manifold, dampen pressure and flow surges to eliminate false signals. See Illustration 2 and chart for service parts.
