The "Note" after the "Friction Disc Replacement Chart" is incorrect.
The note should read as follows:
NOTE: The 6Y-7220 Disc Assembly and 6I-8254 Disc Assembly will be cancelled. For all other applicaitons the new 169-7055 Disc Assembly will replace the former 6Y-7220 Disc Assembly.
NOTE: Parts are visually identical and must be identified by the part number markings.

Description of Change:
New discs with stronger core material are now available for use in Large Off-Highway Truck transmissions. In heavy duty applications, the improved core material will reduce wear of the spline teeth on the friction disc and improve service life.
NOTE: The 6I-8254 Friction Disc will be canceled. The 6Y-7220 and 6I-8254 Friction Discs will be serviced for other applications.
