Improved Brackets And New Plates Provide Additional Support For Oil Cooler Groups {1375}

Usage:

D20D (9MG),
D250D (6NG) Articulated Trucks

Description of Change: Improved brackets and new plates which support the oil cooler are now being used to improve service life. These improved brackets and new plates support the oil coolers located in 7U-8800 Brake Oil Cooler Group and 7U-8859 Transmission Oil Cooler Group.

Adaptable To: The 7U-8800 Brake Oil Cooler Group contains the improved 105-7613 Bracket which was a direct replacement for the former 7U-8801 Bracket. The bracket is effective with D20D (9MG119) and D250D (6NG219) Articulated Trucks. The change is adaptable to all earlier machines and utilizes existing mounting hardware.

The new 119-1680 Bracket is a direct replacement for the former 7U-8802 Bracket. Two additional 118-9973 Plates have been added to provide additional support for the 7U-8800 Brake Oil Cooler Group. One additional 118-9973 Plate has been added to provide additional support for the 7U-8859 Transmission Brake Oil Cooler Group. These changes are effective with D20D (9MG119) and D250D (6NG375) Articulated Trucks and are adaptable to all earlier machines. See illustrations and charts for the components required for both oil coolers.

It is recommended for both oil cooler groups that the brackets be replaced and new plates added at the same time to provide the optimum support for both oil cooler groups.
