Guard Now Used In Rear Service Brake Lines Group To Prevent Reservoir Cap From Loosening{4291}

Usage:

D350D (9RF) Articulated Trucks

Description of Change: A guard has been added to the 7U-4752 and 7U-4753 Rear Service Brake Lines Group. The guard prevents the brake fluid reservoir cap from coming in contact with the over-the-hitch hoses. The over-the-hitch hoses could cause the brake fluid reservoir cap to come loose in some applications.

Adaptable To: The 115-6902 Guard is effective with D350D (9RF543) Articulated Truck. The 115-6902 Guard can be installed on earlier D350D Articulated Trucks using the following method.

1. Remove and discard the four 5M-3062 Bolts that hold the 3U-9373 Reservoir in place.

2. Install the 115-6902 Guard using four 5S-7379 Bolts along with the original nuts and washers.

Location of the 115-6902 Guard. (1) 3U-9373 Reservoir. (2) 115-6902 Guard. (3) 5S-7379 Bolts.
