Starter Relay Valve

Usage:

Remove & Install Starter Relay Valve

1. Release the air pressure in the system.


Typical Example

------ WARNING! ------

To prevent possible personal injury, make sure the pressure in the air system is zero before any air lines are disconnected.

--------WARNING!------

2. Disconnect the air supply line from elbow (3).

3. Disconnect hose (1) from the starter relay valve.

4. Remove the bolts that hold elbow (2) to the starter, and remove the elbow and starter relay valve (4) as an assembly.

5. Remove elbows (3) and (2) and the pipes from the starter relay valve.

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the starter relay valve.

6. Put 5P3413 Pipe Sealant with Teflon on the threads of the pipes. Install the pipes and elbows (3) and (2) on starter relay valve (4).

7. Put the gasket and elbow (2) in position on the starter, and install the four bolts that hold it.

8. Connect hose (1) to the starter relay valve.

9. Connect the air supply line to elbow (3).
